Last night I had a tour with 4 fun girls getting together for a tri-annual girls weekend out. One of the girls had a story to tell that gets back to the old abortion clinic in Buffalo I deleted but I'm going to tell this one just because it raises an interesting question (or two).
All these stories I hear raise interesting questions, no reason to get frightened or all worked up, the dead can't harm you, just the living.
One of the women had had a miscarriage in the 5th month and then had two more children. Her son developed an imaginary friend. It was her husband who asked the 3 year old about the imaginary friend. His description matched the gender, the same name they had chosen (he had no way of knowing, they never talked about it) and approximate age of the child they had lost if alive today.
My first question was why that child remained behind? I've heard this story numerous times where the recently departed appear to let the living know that everything is all right and even though this couple had two children that had survived she was still apparently upset. Usually it's the elderly, this was yet another first. This is a great job!
