Being in my shoes there is no way you cannot believe. I hear the same stories over and over again, just different people and places (and in this case pets). Last night a girl on tour said her grandfather died at home. His dog suddenly sat back on its hind legs and started looking at the upper corner of the room and the hospice worker announced he had passed. I had a vet tech that said they had a ski-dish cat at the office they let run loose at night that would run off when she came in in the morning and turned on the lights. One morning it was sitting on an exam table looking up at the upper corner of the room and didn't even pay attention to her when she entered the room or turn on the lights. It wasn't until it freaked her out so much that she shoo'd it away that it ran off. There was a girl from St John's who's dog once a month or so stared at the upper corner and she said she would kid with it and tell it it was only a ghost. I think I convinced her the dog might be on to something. I have other stories too. If you've bought a new house and doing your inspections, borrow a dog, preferable a German Shepherd. If it refuses to go in the basement, attic or any other room, lower your offer. Googling the address is not a bad idea either.
