This is one I just heard about last week from someone on the tour. I'm sure there are a lot of out of the way places where un-explainable things happen, this one is simple and close to home. In North Carolina not really near anywhere is a small circle called the "Devils Tramping Ground". It's been known about since the area was first settled before the War of Independence. Little to nothing grows in it, they've taken soil samples, there's no scientific reason nothing grows there. Dogs don't want anything to do with the place, dead give away (pun intended) somethings not right. This is the one story that keeps coming up and is the strangest part of all. People will pitch a tent over night in the circle, will try to stay awake but are unable to and wake up in the morning, in the tent, which is now 1/2 mile away from the circle. The stories go from wild to wilder. My opinion is the one I keep going back to, don't have anything to do with Indian burial grounds. At the end of the day there are a lot of things in this world that just can't be explained away like hauntings. My opinion... can't explain it, don't worry about it, don't mess with it.
